ANZAC and Remembrance Days
Every year the Wandong History Group arranges the ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day services for the community. The ANZAC Day service is at 12pm and is followed by a gold coin donation sausage sizzle, with tea coffee and cold drinks also available.
Each year we honour a local soldier during the service, a large field of crosses is established for each local soldier and a large locally made poppy banner is erected.
We encourage those attending to bring and lay a wreath during the service, we also have commemorative poppies available for those who wish to lay them or place them on the crosses.
